TOBACCO PRODUCTS AND INDUSTRY PROMOTIONS

Twist NV’s Twist on Rolling Tobacco

Twist offers a variety of types for the discerning rolling tobacco user. Twist imports tobaccos from regions throughout the world including South America, Central Africa, and Indonesia, which they combine into original blends with unique taste. With its young, dynamic, and enthusiastic sales team, Twist is expanding its clients network in the different European and overseas regions. Here are a look at some of their products:

Eastwood Blond is a typical “student ‘s roll” with a light, sweet touch. A “tasteful tobacco that does not sting on the tongue.” Test groups have reacted positively to this mild tobacco, which consists primarily of tobacco leaves from North Carolina in the United States.

Eastwood Classic is a “tasteful tobacco.” The ripened tobacco (a blend of Virginia leaves and Brazilian tobacco with a particularly rich aroma) burns very slowly, which intensifies the taste even more.

Eastwood Virginia gives a powerful taste experience and allows you to enjoy richer aromas.

Stanley is a blend of Indonesian and Brazilian tobaccos. Available in three varieties: Blond, Classic, and Rich Flavour.

Kingston is a premium tobacco with a satisfying golden taste in a unique 220 g tin, which offers customers an additional 10% of tobacco at no charge (200 g + 20 g).

Rocky Patel The Edge Now Available in Sumatra Wrapper

Joining The Edge Maduro and The Edge Corojo, Rocky Patel has released The Edge Sumatra. Edge Sumatra features the same filler and binder tobaccos as the Maduro and Corojo versions but has a rich, Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper grown by the Oliva family that is aged five years.

“This Sumatra wrapper was actually the very first wrapper used on the Edge back in 2004, but there wasn’t enough wrapper supply,” says Patel. Three years later, the supply is not an issue.

The Sumatra wrapper, taken from eighth priming off the tobacco plant, adds a “meaty, spicy element to a bold, full-flavored blend,” says company president Rocky Patel. Edge Sumatra is available in two shapes, toro and torpedo, both measuring 6” x 52” and retailing for $5.25 and $5.50 respectively. The line is presented in rustic trays of 100 cigars, and was pre-released in limited edition 10-count boxes.
