The show, hosted by Tobacco Products International (TPI), the leading tobacco product journal centering on the European market proved to be the decade-old EuroTab’s strongest showing to date (breaking attendence records from the previous record-holder, EuroTab ’04 in Kracow, Poland). Thomas Schuman of the German Tobacco Group summed-up the good fortune shared by many exhibitors: “EuroTab was very good for us and we were able to establish new international contacts with Japan, China, Jordan, Hungary, and India.” After past successful shows in Budapest, Vienna, and Amsterdam, EuroTab 2008 in Warsaw, exceeded them all in the number of visitors and exhibitors. “We’ve never seen so many visitors, and the amount of business and contacts being made has been extraordinary,” says TPI managing editor Evan Dashevsky.

Plans are already in the works for EuroTab 2009 which - due to the overwhelming demand - organizers are already planning to return to Poland in June of 2009.
